Beverly Owens, Music Director
Beverly Owens, soprano, is a native of New Jersey. She frequently appears in operas, oratorios and recitals in the metropolitan area. Ms. Owens has performed in many distinguished concert halls including New York's Merkin Hall where she was featured in a program of French melodies. In addition to her work as a performer, she is the Director of Music at Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church in Princeton New Jersey. She maintains an active teaching and tutoring schedule and is a founding member of 'Women in A Chord', an acapella vocal trio. Ms. Owens holds degrees from Jersey City State College, New York University and Westminster Choir College.
Eva Kastner-Puschl, Organist
Mezzo-soprano and pianist Eva Kastner-Puschl is a native of Graz, Austria. A versatile musician, she has performed as soloist and in chamber ensembles in Europe and the U.S. Ms. Kastner-Puschl holds degrees in music and instrumental music education from university for music and performing arts Graz, Austria, a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from Karl-Franzens University Graz, Austria and a M.M. Degree in voice performance and pedagogy from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.
Ms. Kastner-Puschl became the organist of Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church in September 2012. The welcoming environment and loving congregation make it a joy to musically and socially engage in the church life. Besides her job at church, she currently holds a teaching position for voice at Felician College in Lodi, NJ and is on the voice and piano faculty of Westminster Conservatory in Princeton, NJ where she also works as accompanist. In addition she is a professional singer with the Philadelphia Singers as well as with Princeton Pro Musica.
