Denyse Leslie, Clerk of Session

Denyse grew up in Brooklyn NY and graduated cum laude with highest honors for Thesis work from Middlebury College.  She is a charter class member of Yale University's School of Management where she earned her MBA.  Her 30 year business career started in general business management consulting with Towers Perrin in NYC.  She spent 18 years in business development leadership roles at Educational Testing Service in Princeton NJ. where she launched the K-12 business. She is co-chair of the WSPC history project charged to publish the history of the church, serves as member of the Paul Robeson House Advisory Committee and is active in fundraising.  Her other non-profit volunteer work includes serving on Princeton's Community Works Planning Committee.

Denyse has one son; Christopher Leslie, and a granddaughter, Auriana Michelle Leslie who live in Beaverton, OR. Her parents, Conrad and Melanie Evelyn, live in Bucks County.

I am pleased to be serving my second term on Session as a ruling elder and Chair of the Church Life Committee.  My wife, Pamela, three children, and in-laws, have worshipped as members of Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church for the past 11 years.  Witherspoon is truly our church home as we have watched our children grow in the church and are involved in many activities around the church including teaching Sunday School, Usher Ministry, and many church committees.

Gerald Delk

Gerald Delk, Treasurer  

Gerald K. Delk is a Senior Business Development Professional with New York Life Insurance Company, a firm specializing in helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals through Insurance, Investment, and Retirement products. Prior to joining New York Life he held senior leadership positions with Vanguard, GE Capital, and Arthur Andersen, LLP. He has led teams that have helped closely held businesses to Fortune 500 companies enhance financial results and resolve complex business and people issues. Also, his teams have helped over 1 million people understand investing and develop appropriate actions to accomplish their goals. Additionally, Gerald served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Congressman Harold E.  Ford, Sr in Washington, DC.

Gerald is very active in the surrounding community. He serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of The Crisis Ministry,  Elder and Treasurer of Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church and a member of the Chandler Hall Business Advisory Council located in Newton, PA.

Gerald earned an MBA from Clark Atlanta University and a BA from LeMoyne-Owen College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds Finra series 6, 63, and 26 securities licenses. Gerald is also a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Gerald resides in West Windsor, NJ with his wife, Karen. They are proud parents of Winston, Phyllis, and Brian.

Tracy Eskridge Joseph, Nominating & Robeson House

Tracy is a native of New Jersey who has attended Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster Pa. and the Touro Law School in Long Island NY.  She is an attorney for the state of New Jersey practicing administrative law for the New Jersey Judiciary.  Tracy lives with her daughter Harper who is attending college.

As an Elder Tracy is Chair of the Nominating Committee, Acting Chair of Personnel and serves on the Advising Board of the Robeson House.

Charles Bush

Charles E. Bush, Outreach and Missions 

A native of Miami Fl,  Charles has moved around extensively getting a Bachelors Degree in Math from Knoxville College in TN, a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College in PA, and a Masters and PhD in Nuclear Physics from the University of Wisconsin.  His research in Nuclear Energy is what bought him to Princeton where he worked at Princeton Plasma Physics for 25 years.  He continues to live in Princeton with his wife Alyce.  They have two childen, Lisa and Charles Jr. and two grandsons Orson and Leo.

Charles stays very active with the Outreach and Missions Committee.

Eugene Marsh

Eugene Marsh, Stewardship 

Eugene Marsh is an Elder and Chair of Stewardship.  Eugene is the chairperson of the Men Association, Men Who Cook and is a founding member of the Men Chorus.  Mr. Marsh is President & CEO of Construction Project Management Services, Inc. with headquarters in Princeton, NJ.  Founded in 1998, the firm provides preconstruction and construction management services. Eugene’s firm is a major leader in construction management the tri-state area.  In 2009, the firm was selected as the construction manager for the renovation and upgrade of the Statue of Liberty Project. In addition, the firm is certified by the Small Business Administration-SBA (8a) as a federal contractor and is providing construction management services for the commercial office building at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Edgewood, Maryland, and Merrill Lynch Headquarters in Hopewell, NJ.
In 1965, Mr. Marsh became the first African American to integrate an all-white high school in Lancaster, SC. He served in the United States Army, where he received three distinguished military medals, the Bronze Star for Valor in combat in South Vietnam in 1969, the U.S. Army Medal, and the Vietnam Veteran Medal. He served in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division, where he was assigned as an infantrymen and a radio operator.  
    In 2014, Eugene received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rider University and delivered the commencement address. He is pursuing his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health at Rider University.
    Eugene serves on the board of One Hundred Black Men of America, Mid-Jersey Chamber of Commerce. Mercer County Community College, and United Way of Greater Mercer County.
